Middle East & North Africa

Halal production, Arabic labelling and packing, hot-climate reefer logistics.

This is our home market for Arabic labelling and where the temperature question is sharpest: goods can sit on a Jebel Ali or Dammam quay in 45 °C heat. We plan the reefer, the pre-cooling and the transit time around that, not around European assumptions.

What your market requires

  • Arabic labelling: ingredient, allergen and nutrition panels in Arabic, with production and expiry dates in Arabic numerals where the retailer requires it
  • Saudi Arabia: SFDA product registration number on the label for food products — tell us before the order so we sequence it
  • UAE: ESMA/MOIAT conformity; dairy-containing SKUs need the shelf-life and storage statements they expect
  • Halal status must be stated truthfully: our production is halal-certified in China; we do not hold SFDA/ESMA/JAKIM certification yet
  • Packing for heat and humidity: sealed cartons, no co-loading with spices or detergents, ambient storage advice printed on the carton

Documents that ship with the goods

  • Commercial invoice & packing list (Arabic where required)
  • Certificate of origin (legalised / attested per country)
  • Health certificate
  • Halal certificate (China-issued) + batch COA

Buyer questions for this market

Do you have an international halal certificate?

No. Production in China is halal-certified and the recipe contains no animal-derived additives, but we do not yet hold SFDA, ESMA, JAKIM or BPJPH certification. If your market requires it, tell us before the order and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet the date.

How do you protect chocolate in Gulf summer heat?

Reefer at 16–18 °C, pre-cooled before loading, temperature loggers inside, and no co-loading with odorous cargo. The logger record ships with your documents.
